Spring/Summer Skirt

I used the Cute Skirts pattern by Favorite Things. I made the Panel skirt (the green floral one pictured above). The pattern was simple and easy to follow. Not a lot of information for each step i.e. how to press seams, so it makes it easy to read. I think next time I may make it in one size smaller then I measured at. It feels kind of big but I think the size is right for pulling it easily over my hips. I will have to wear it a bit before I make the next one.
I used some Anna Marie Horner Fabric from her Bohemian line that I got at Holly Hill Quilt Shoppe, during their Super Bolt sale ($3 a yard and I only had to wait 4 hours in line). I am a sucker for a sale. The fabric line is full of wonderful paisley and great summer/spring colors. Unfortunately the line has been discontinued so it is really difficult to find. But the good news is that it seems like a few of the designs have made there way into her new line Good Folks.

Great job! I've owned this pattern for at least 2 years and have yet to make a skirt from it! I'd say if you decide to go smaller, make sure the zipper is long enough so that you can get it over your hips (if that's an issue).
