Do You Think He Knows?

I don't know how he knew but I swear he knew the hat was for a girl. I tried numerous times on different days to get him to try it on for me and he would not comply. I thought maybe dad could distract him but that didn't work. So I tried dad + the camera...it was a little better, plus now I have these funny pictures to share :)

For the most part the hat pattern was easy to follow. I don't consider myself to be experienced at crocheting and did have to seek some help from Christina. Not because I couldn't follow the pattern but I just didn't feel like it was looking "right." With Christina's help we came to the conclusion that we were doing it right (or so we thought) but for some reason the sizing was off. We started the hats over; Christina made a hat with some adjustments to help with sizing and I followed the pattern except I only used one strand of yarn instead of the two that it called for. It looks a little off from the pattern picture but it is still really cute.

All and all the birthday girl liked it and that's all that matters :)
