A few pictures from Christmas morning. This year was the most tiring on me but also the most heart warming. I could not stay tired and grumpy for long with such wonderful people surrounding me. More pictures to come soon...hopefully ;)

Our First Snow
We actually got a few inches of snow yesterday but Colin only got to play in it when it first started to snow. It got dark by the time his hands had warmed back up. He loved every minute of the cold snow. We watched it snow for hours, it was wonderful. We are keeping our fingers crossed that we get some more snow this winter.

My Christmas gift from Christina- I love it sooo much, especially the red mushrooms.

Red apples, I am making applesauce and apple butter as I type. The house smells delicious.
Last but not least some coloring done by Colin with a red crayon.

Thursday: Brown
Roxy and her cute brown patch.
My new brown glasses. Just picked them up a couple hours ago. Perfect timing.
I thought the picture of Roxy was appropriate for the day. We have been wrestling with the idea of finding her a new home. We just don't meet her energy needs. She needs other dogs to play with and a family who has more time for her. It has been a very sad day for me. It's one thing to feel this way, it is totally different when you decide to follow thru with it.

I am participating in Color Week hosted by Color. Today is the first day, which means it is not to late for you to join.
It took some thinking to find some yellow in my house. Even my bananas were green :)

If at first you don't succeed...
Try...
Try again...
Inspiration/tutorials can be found here and here. I may not be done trying, when I am I will share the details :) For now I am happy with the overall size of 2 1/2" wide. But I am not sure if I like the style of the button or the fluffy flower more. What do you think?
