Yup, that's me. Missing. From blog land. I have been busy in the real world and I have even completed some sewing projects. My husband and I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary. We had a lovely trip to the Oregon coast, pictures here, for a few days while my mom watched Colin. They had a lovely time and Colin got to eat cookies, drink soda, and stay up past his bed time :) Everyone had a lot of fun and needed a vacation afterwards.
I got one of my projects done before my trip. Yippee, bonus points for me! And it was a Japanese pattern so I get double bonus points for completing it. It was super easy and I love LOVE diagrams and illustrations more then words.
My interpretation- I used a beautiful egg plant linen for the outside
And a really fun Lyndhurst cotton sateen for the inside. With Amy Butler orange polka dot pocket (makes it super easy for me to find)
The pattern didn't call for lining or the pocket but I wanted it :)
And I have used the bag every day since I made it.
I have more stuff to share but I am going to save it, be back soon. Hopefully sooner then before ;)
xo,
Elizabeth
