Take 1 & Some Scraps

I was inspired by this bagDSC_3043-1

DSC_3049-1DSC_3051-1DSC_3052-1DSC_3054-1 I am pretty happy with it but I did start on bag #2 last night with some minor changes, mainly size increases. I think my favorite part about the reusable grocery bag is that I didn't have to turn any of it right side out to sew it together :)

My little helper has been carrying it around since we finished it. We have gotten pretty good at sewing together, now if my lap would just stop decreasing in size we would be set ;)DSC_3065-1 As we are trying to simplify everything and keep things to a minimal around here I thought I would give away my scraps from this project. Anyone interested??  If so just leave a comment saying you are interested in the scraps (or something along those lines) and I will randomly pick a comment on Monday morning. Happy Friday!

That bag is great! I love how you did the bottom corners, and the combo of the patterns with the linen.
I would LOVE those fun and fresh scraps!

I love the bird fabric. I've been collecting bird fabric for a baby quilt and these scraps would be perfect. I am expecting a baby in May and hoping for a girl so I can make a bird quilt. I would love to win!

I love the details on the bag! Expecially the bottom fold!

I have some of that fabric line with the birds...maybe the scraps want to come play at my house?
