Today is the first day in 13 days that Colin's nose has not been red (it's still producing the most vividly colored mucus). He has had a nasty cold for 13 days and counting. We had a visit to the Emergency Department last Saturday night. He got Croup with Stridor on top of his cold and had a fever of 103.5. It was a very scary ride to the hospital. His breathing cleared up after the nebulizer and steroid treatments. You could only hear a minor wheezing/whistle. By the time we got home it was 3am and we all got into bed and slept until 10am. All but me. I kept waking up to make sure Colin was okay, even though he was sleeping right next to me :)
He was supposed to have his 2nd Birthday Party this Saturday but I postponed it. Maybe the second weekend in April? He is still not fully recovered and will finish his last dose of steroids tonight. So for now we just hang in there and soak up the sunshine and breathe in the nice cool air.

Our oldest had strep on his first birthday. Oh, those were the days!
